أعلنت وزارة الداخلية، عن استهداف وكر للعناصر الإرهابية المتورطة فى الهجوم على كمين العريش فجر اليوم الأول لعيد الفطر، وأسفر استهداف الإرهابيين عن مقتل 4 منهم، وضبط أسلحة نارية، وحزام ناسف. وذكرت وزارة الداخلية فى بيانها، أنه استمرار لجهود ملاحقة وتتبع العناصر الإرهابية، المتورطة فى مهاجمة أحد الأكمنة الأمنية، جنوب العريش فجر 5 يونيو الجارى، فقد رصدت عمليات المتابعة، وتتبع خطوط سير العناصر الإرهابية، اتخاذ عدد من تلك العناصر، أحد العقارات، الكائن بمنطقة ابو عيطة بالعريش مأوى لهم. وأشار البيان، أنه تم مداهمة العقار وتبادل إطلاق النار، مما أسفر عن مصرع 4 عناصر إرهابية، وعثر بحوزتهم على 3 بنادق الية، وحزام ناسف.يذكر انه تم تصفية 14 مواطنا يوم 6/6/2019 و8 مواطنين بتاريخ 7/6/2019 علي يد قوات الداخلية بنفس الزعم .
