بتاريخ 11/4/2019 قامت قوات وزارة الداخلية بالتصفية الجسدية ل11 مواطناً بالعريش بزعم تبادل اطلاق النار ، وجاء نص البيان نمطياً يؤكد القتل خارج نطاق القانون ، على النحو التالى: القضاء على خلية إرهابية بالعريش ومقتل 11 من عناصرهاوردت معلومات لقطاع الأمن الوطنى بتمركز مجموعة من العناصر الإرهابية بأحد المبانى بمنطقة أبو عيطة بالعريش وإستعدادهم لتنفيذ بعض العمليات الإرهابية فى العديد من المناطق الحيوية وتمركزات القوات المسلحة والشرطة .قامت قوات الأمن بإستهدافهم وتبادل إطلاق النيران معهم والذى إستمر لفترة وأسفر عن مصرعهم والعثور بحوزتهم على ( 2 بندقية آلية – 3 بندقية FN – 2بندقية خرطوش – 2 عبوة متفجرة – 2 حزام ناسف ) .تم إتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية وتوالى نيابة أمن الدولة العليا مباشرة التحقيقات .
