The security forces in Sohag governorate continued the enforced disappearance of Mohammed Assem Madi, a 21-year-old student at the Sohag University Law School after he was arbitrarily arrested from his home in the center of Gerga in Sohag governorate on January 24, and taken to an unknown destination. Sohag valiliği güvenlik güçleri, Sohag Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi'ndeki 21 yaşındaki bir öğrenci olan Muhammed Assem Madi'yi, Sohag Valiliği'ndeki Gerga'nın merkezindeki evinden keyfi bir şekilde tutuklandıktan ve 24 Ocak'ta bilinmeyen bir yere götürüldükten sonra zorla kaybetmeye devam etti.
