أعلن المتحدث الرسمي بالقوات المسلحة عن التصفية الجسدية ل ١٣ مواطنا بشمال سيناء بزعم أنهم تكفيريين جاء ذلك خلال بيان نشره بتاريخ 13/08/2021 في صفحته الرئيسية وجاء بالبيان : إستكمالاً لجهود القوات المسلحة فى أعمال مكافحة الإرهاب بوسط وشمال سيناء وحال تبادل إطلاق النيران تم القضاء على عدد (13) عنصراً تكفيرياً ، كما تم ضبط (15) بندقية آلية وكميات من الذخائر مختلفة الأعيرة ، وعدد (20) خزنة بندقية آلية ، وضبط عدد من الدراجات النارية التى تستخدمها العناصر التكفيرية فى تنفيذ عملياتها الإرهابية ، كما تم ضبط عدد من الهواتف المحمولة وعدد 2 نظارة ميدان وكميات من المبالغ المالية من مختلف العملات .وقد إتخذت القوات المسلحة حيال ذلك كافة الإجراءات القانونية وعرضها على جهات التحقيق المختصة .ونتيجة للأعمال القتالية نال شرف الإستشهاد والإصابة عدد ( 9 ) من أبطال القوات المسلحة .هذا وتؤكد القوات المسلحة على إستمرار جهودها لملاحقة العناصر الإرهابية لينعم شعب مصر بالأمن والأمان . Silahlı Kuvvetlerin Orta ve Kuzey Sina'da terörle mücadele çabalarını tamamlamak için ve karşılıklı ateş açılması durumunda 13 tekfirci unsur ortadan kaldırılmış, (15) otomatik tüfek ve çeşitli kalibrelerde mühimmat ele geçirilmiştir. , (20) otomatik tüfek şarjörleri ve çok sayıda diğer ele geçirildi.Tekfirci unsurların terör operasyonlarında kullandıkları motosikletler, çok sayıda cep telefonu, 2 dürbün ve çeşitli para birimlerinde paralar ele geçirildi.Silahlı kuvvetler bu konuda tüm yasal önlemleri almış ve ilgili soruşturma makamlarına sunmuştur. Çatışmalar sonucunda silahlı kuvvetlerin çok sayıda (9) kahramanı şehit olmuş ve yaralanmıştır.Silahlı kuvvetler, Mısır halkının güvenlik ve emniyetten yararlanabilmesi için terörist unsurları takip etme çabalarının devam ettiğini teyit ediyor.
