قضت محكمة جنايات القاهرة اليوم الخميس 8 أبريل 2021 بالسجن المؤبد على الدكتور/ محمود عزت –أستاذ الطب بجامعة الزقازيق والقائم بأعمال المرشد العام للإخوان المسلمين، وذلك في قضية أحداث مكتب الإرشاد، وجدير بالذكر أنه مقبوض عليه منذ أغسطس 2020. تحديث 18/4/2022:قضت محكمة جنايات القاهرة بالسجن المؤبد على الدكتور محمود عزت في إعادة محاكمته بالقضية المعروفة إعلاميًا بـ"اقتحام الحدود الشرقية" Today, Thursday, April 8, 2021, the Cairo Criminal Court sentenced Dr. Mahmoud Ezzat - Professor of Medicine at Zagazig University and Acting General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, in the case of the events of the Guidance Office, and it is worth noting that he has been arrested since August 2020. Kahire Ceza Mahkemesi bugün 8 Nisan 2021 Perşembe günü Rehberlik Bürosu olaylarında Zagazig Üniversitesi Tıp Profesörü ve Müslüman Kardeşler Genel Rehber Vekili Dr.Mahmah Ezzat'ı mahkum etti. Ağustos 2020'den beri tutuklandı.
