قضت محكمة النقض، اليوم الإثنين 10 يونيو، بقبول الطعن المقدم من "أشرف محمد عيسى"، وإلغاء عقوبة الإعدام، ومعاقبته بالسجن المؤبد فى القضية المعروفة إعلاميًا بـ«اقتحام مركز شرطة كرداسة». كانت محكمة جنايات الجيزة أصدرت حكمًا بالإعدام على "أشرف محمد عيسى" إلا أنه أقام بالطعن بمفرده على الحكم الصادر أمام محكمة النقض.
The Court of Cassation ruled on Monday (June 10th) to accept the appeal filed by Ashraf Mohamed Issa, abolish the death penalty and punish him with life imprisonment in the case known as the "infiltration of the Kerdasa police station". The Giza Criminal Court sentenced Ashraf Mohamed Issa to death, but he appealed to the Court of Cassation.
Yargıtay, 10 Haziran Pazartesi günü, Muhammed Muhammed Issa'nın temyiz başvurusunu kabul etmesine, ölüm cezasını kaldırmasına ve “Kerdasa karakoluna sızması” olarak bilinen davada ömür boyu hapis cezası vermesine karar verdi. Giza Ceza Mahkemesi, Muhammed Muhammed Issa'yı ölüme mahkum etti, ancak Yargıtay'a temyiz etti.
