دخلت امس الثلاثاء 19/3/2019  الناشطة الحقوقية سمية ناصف، المعتقلة داخل سجن القناطر، في إضراب مفتوح عن الطعام احتجاجًا على الانتهاكات التي تتعرض لها داخل محبسهما من قبل إدارة السجن ،وتقدمت ناصف خلال عرضها على النيابة بشكوى ضد مأمور سجن القناطر بسبب منع أهلها من زيارتها بالرغم من حصولهم على تصريح من النيابةن بالإضافة إلى حبسها في مكان غير آدمي ومليء بالثعابين والحشرات القاتلة.وأوضحت الناشطة الحقوقية أنها قتلت ثعبان وحشرة أم أربعة وأربعين داخل الزنزانة، وما كان من إدارة السجن إلا وعدها بزيادة الشيح.
