تنظر محكمة جنايات القاهرة، المعارضة المقدمة من المحامي منتصر الزيات و5 آخرين على حكم حبسهم 3 سنوات في قضية إهانة السلطة القضائية، والإساءة إلى رجالها والتطاول عليهم وذلك بعد رفض طلب رد هيئة المحكمة، وأسندت هيئة التحقيق إلى المتهمين تهم إهانة وسب القضاء والقضاة بطريق النشر والإدلاء بأحاديث في القنوات التليفزيونية والمحطات الإذاعية ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي الإلكترونية، من خلال عبارات تحمل الإساءة والكراهية للمحاكم والسلطة القضائية.
